players, who must be spon-
sored, start off with a
Breakfast of Champions and
are then whisked over to

Right On Submarine and
Amusements in North Van-
couver to begin the contest.

To quality, the entrants
must first play non-stop for
six hours after arriving, then
it’s anyone’s ball game. The
last one left standing (and

playing), picks up a trophy
and a cheque for $1,000.
Expect the works this year:
marching bands, streamers,
balloons, cheerleaders and a
large crowd, as the event has
been getting nation-wide at-
tention, even the TV show

‘Real People’ have expressed
interest.
