16 — Friday, March 20, 1998 — North Shore News Police seek robbery tips } THE North Vancouver RCMP are asking the public’s assistance in solv- ing an armed robbery of a Chevron gas station on Dec. 22 on Mount Seymour Parkway. Police sav two men armed with a rifle and a shotgun, both wearing gas masks tied up a clerk in a gas seation robbery at + a.m. The clerk was tied up with duct tape and not hurt during the robbery. The robbers gor away with cigarettes, jottery tickets and a small amount of cash. North Vancouver RCMP Const. Tom Scaman said the police have hit a dead end in their investigation of the crime. The robbers are described as being: a Caucasian, 1.8 m (672",) in his carly 20s with black, straight, medium-length hair. He was Wearing a blue fleece jacket and army tvpe boots; @ an olive or darker skinned male, 1.8 m (6°,) with a shaved head. He was wearing green combat clothing and army type boots. He car- ried a duffel bag. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the North Vancouver RCMP at 985-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 669-8477.
