West Van youth

THE West Vancouver
Youth Advisor
Committee ( YAC) is an
advisory body to the
mayor composed of
youth and serves as a
means of voicing the
opinions of youth in
the community,

This year there were many
new members who aided in

the amelioration of this com-
mittee, .

As there was a strong
emphasis on helping youth,
_ the YAC tried to initiate
events. in which youth could
~ get to know each other,

, One of the highlights of
the year was the organization
of the first. annual Welcome
Night, an evening dedicated
to. allow new: youth in the
community to meet ‘each
¥ other in a social atmosphere.
