ON. MAY II, Irving Berlin cele-
brated his 98th birthday.

From June 6 to 8, Sunshine, a
group of Vancouver singers and
actors, will combine their various
talents to pay tribute to the com-
poser by presenting three perfor-
mances of Happy Birthday Mr.
Berlin at West End Community
Centre in Vancouver.

Berlin drove the world dance-
crazy with Alexander’s Ragtime
Band,

displays, beer garden, entertain-
ment and carnival atmosphere of
the annual event staged at the West
Van Recreation Centre.

Summer Cooper, will be doing five
tap and jazz numbers.
