loving wife Florence; his sisiers,

Muriel Ontkean Cooper of Van-
couver; his two daughters, Carci
and her husband Derek Cash,
Nort Vancouver and Valerie
and her husband David Hignell
of Cowichan Valley; four grand-
children, Osarde and Trevor
Cash, Bryan and Tamara Hignell
af Courtney, and Lisa and Matt
Cox of Colorado, and four great-
grandchildren who will know
their Great-grandfather by leg-
end and story. Roy,was bom the
fourth of six children to Peart and
Thomas Cooyer in Regina, Janu-
ary 18, 1915. He served the City
of Vancouver as an automotive
electrician for 25 years and was
an active C.U.P.E unionist. He
was tireless in helping his family
and community and was a serv-
ant of the Lord all of his life. A
Memorial Service will be heid
March 17, 2000, 1:30 p.m. at
Trinity Baptist Church, 49th and
Granville. A Memorial Tea will be
held March 22, 1:30 p.m. at Hill-
side Baptist Church, 870 Lynn
Valley Rd, North Vancouver.
Flowers gratefully declined. Don-

Society or to the C.NI.G. in
Roy's memory. “Dad, Grandpa
