(Jan. 28 News storv). At least one businessman, Grouse Mountain’s Stuart McLaughlin, is awake to the true potential of the Capilano val- ley and to the three reservoirs being unnecessary. I was with others in the pool when the alarm went off. We had to hustle outside into the cold rain in our bare feet and wet swimsuits. We made our way up to Silver Harbour where they served us coffee and someone wrapped a blanket around me. Another wonderful woman I didn’t know, offered me a ride home which I gladly accepted. Later in the afternoon I was able to retrieve my clothes and the next day I returned the blanker. Today I went and bought a new blanket, which I will rake to World Vision at the Mission's Fest. They will send it to Sudan for me and give it to a refugee who has had to flee his some because of the hostile situation there. The nights are 11C. I did this because I know how it feels to have a blanket wrapped around you when you're cold. It feels like somebody cares. Thank you to whoever did that for me.
