The site of the crash is a Nahanie Court residence, which until May 8 was home to a fami- ly of five. Since that date the number has been forcibly down- sized to just nwo after Ministry for Children and Families offi- cials intervened and took cus- tody of three children. Roger Scott, 34, and his wife Rose Bosco, 40, have been in court since, bur sdll haven’r had any luck getting their children back. The kids, aged three, five and six, have been in the care of the ministry and are living with fos- ter parents. Ministry for Children and Families spokesman Bernadette Murphy is prevented by provin- cial legislation from discussing specific cases but said any action would have been warranted. “When the iinistry takes a child into care it has to go before ajudge within seven days — usu- ally the next day or two,” said Murphy.
