Youth Band

In January they hosted a
youth band frorn Sydney, Australia. In May,
they were privileged to play hosts once again.
This time to the Vergandsjugendblasarchester,
Kaiserstuhl-Tuniberg, Germany. This world class band
spent three memorable days with us, ending with’an |
joint concert at the Cenzennial Theatre.
The Seniors performed in many local events, including
the Hyack Parade, New Westminster and West
Vancouver Days Parade. mes
July 3 saw the band depart on a 14 day tour of Germany,
Austria and Italy. The first three days were spent renewing
our friendships with the Verbandsjugendblasorchester as we
were billeted with their families. ‘Then on to Italy to visit . eae :
