MEMBERS OF the Internationa! Brotherhood of Electrical
‘Workers (IBEW) returned to Shaw Cable’s North Van-
couver office Tuesday, but were told by management that

there was no work for them.

After four months idled by a
picket line set up around the North
Vancouver office by the IBEW’s
Kootenay local, ‘they (IBEW
workers) were mad as hell,’’ said
IBEW spokesman Keith Morrison,
“It’s one thing for them to be out
in. support of a picket line,’ but
another when they come back
ready to work and management
locks them out.”
