Before the game Carson Graham and Handsworth had been tied for first with 6- 0 records. But George struck out eight Handsworth bat- ters in the low scoring con- test. In other games that day, Sutherland defeated Carson Graham Juniors 16-6; Argyle. Juniors swamped Hillside 30- 2; Nicole Liddell pitched West Vancouver to a 13-6 victory over Argyle, and Windsor defeated Sutherland Juniors 11-3. Most games were rained out Tuesday, May 17, and the only game that day was between West Vancouver and Carson Graham Juniors. Liddell was again the pitcher for West Vancouver as they defeated the junior team 7-6. A Spring tryout camp will be held Monday, May 30 and Tuesday, May 31 from 69 p.m. at the College.
