All - Wednesday, September 29, 1982 - North Shore News Explosion a mystery AN EXPLOSION which rattled windows of nearby homes, waking residents, is still a mystery to North Vancouver District fire personnel who were called to Fromme Road Elementary School at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday. The fire department was informed of the blast by the RCMP but when a crew it could find no evidence of anything unusual. The school security guard and witnesses said they heard a loud explosion and a neighbor reported being woken by windows rattling as a result of the blast.
