Mission on Wednesday and Richmond 9-2 earlier i in the: week. In Friday’s action the West Van team out-hustled, out-muscled and outshot the Richmond team in every period. Good defensive play and aggressive forechecking kept; the action in the Richmond end of the ice during much of the game, with only some excellent work by the Richmond netminder keeping the score from reaching double figures. West Van goal scorers in Friday’s game were Pete Meldal, Al Forster, and Mike Carnsew with two each, and’Scott Orr and Dan Corrigan with singles. Ken Biehl in the West Van net turned aside 19 shots while his Richmond counterpart faced 40 shots.
