SNOW SIGHTINGS on the

has his work cut out for him to

snowfall, around B.C... winter
adventurers are busy waxing their
boards and taking their ski suits out
of summer storage in anticipation
of the new season.

the new season signals the launch

The biggest news from local hill
operators is the devlopment of

SKE SHOW AND SWAP.

cross-country ski trails atop Grouse
Mountain, With Hollyburn turning
record numbers last year, the peo-
ple at Grouse decided to get a share
of the action. Also, a $1.2 million
renovation project involving the
original chalet. (cirea 1926) was
announced last week.

Mount Seymour is offering a

new half or full-day Super Junior

Ski Camps. A new month by month
lift pass is also available,

And over at Cypress. snow-
bourders are getting the coval treat-
ment as the West Vancouver moun-
tain intends to get serious about
developing a first-class snowbard
park.
