McCredie News Reporter Dr. David Kell posted the highest score in the United States on his medical specialty board ex- aminations. Over 300 physicians throughout America wrote the test this year. Kell and his wife Beverlee mov- ed to Palo Alto, California, in the summer of 1989 so he could do his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford University. According to a brief presented to the board on Tuesday night by the committee, ‘The proposed North Shore Parenting Teen Education and Daycare Program is being developed to help support young parents in continuing their education and in becoming self- sufficient, financially independent and more conipetent in the areas of life skills and parenting." The committee has suggested Carson Graham secondary school as a possible site for the program because of the school's accessibili- ty. Committee co-chairmen Kim Collett and Laura Lee Kent pres- ented the brief to the District 44 school board. North Shore Neighborhood House (NSNH) has conditionally agreed to run the day care and the family support components.
