He made the comment two days after he and Wilson patched up their differences at a party caucus meeting held in Vancouver. By Surj Rattan News Reporter Mitchell had come under attack by Wilson) and other Liberal MLAs for actively campaigning for the Charlottetown constitut- ional accord, while the Liberal caucus had earlier voted to oppose the deal. There was speculation late fast week and earlier this week that Mitchell would be disciplined for speaking out on in favor of the Charlottetown Accord by being expelled from the Liberal caucus. He had earlier resigned his posi- tion as Liberal house leader over the issue. But on Thursday, Mitchell said he and Wilson agreed at the Tuesday caucus meeting that Mit- chell will continue to speak out in favor of the constitutional accord.
