Squadron holds
NV open house

THE SIX Field Engineer Squadron in North Van is
holding an open house to celebrate 78 years as a unit
of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Doors will be open to the public on Sun. May 13
from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A formal inspection of the
Squadron will be conducted by the area commander,

Brigadier General T.H.M. Silva. The North Van-
couver Youth Band will be on hand and Messes will
be open for refreshments after the inspection.

‘Organizers say that through events like this, local
men and women who make up a Reserve Unit can
demonstrate their best to the community. For infor-
