Financial planning offered

THE PACIFIC Chapter of the
Canadian Association of Financial
Planners will be offering a course
in financial planning through
BCIT beginning in January, 1988.

With the growing interest in this
field, the chapter was convinced
that a local classroom program
would serve the needs of both in-
dustry and public.

Through the cooperation of
BCIT a course of studies has been
designed tu aid aspiring financial
planners, and current practitioners
alike, to strengthen their knowl-
edge of this rapidly expanding
profession.

The completion of seven courses
will lead to an associate certificate

INTRO TO COMPUTERS

in accordance with BCIT reguia-
tions.

For financial planners intending
to become regular members of the
association, the receipt of the
associate certificate will contribute
to meeting the educational re-
quirements of regular membership.

The Pacific Chapter will con-
tribute to an advisory board to be
composed of educators, profes-
sionals and industry members so
that the course of siudies is rele-
vant to practitioners and remains
current in its orientation.
