Blend quickly and thoroughly
until absorbed and then re-mist
the area (or reapply a_ small
amount of cream) to ensure even
coverage.

Color will begin to develop in
about four hours and will con-
tinue to intensify over the next
several hours.

@ To intensify your shade of
“tan,’’ reapply at four-hour in-
tervals or once a day until the
desired color depth is achieved,
and to maintain, repeat the ap-
plication two or three times a
week. .

@ Though some tanning products
contain a sunscreen, Estee
Lauder’s self-action tanning spray
does not, and it’s recommended
that you use the screen designed
for your skin type.

Lauder has sunscreen available
in moisturizing, oil-free or sen-

sitive skin formulas in cream or’

spray.

Take note when using any tan-
ning product:

@ If applied on dry or flaky skin,
the color will develop unevenly
and result in a blotchy tan.

Since the tan develops different-
ly on varying skin types, do a
patch test. Before applying for-
mula all over, try on a small con-
cealed area and wait a few hours
to se2 what color is achieved.

.'@- After applying, wait ‘one hour

before.’ dressing, showering,
bathing or swimming since tontact
with water too soon will dilute the
formula and resist the color de-
velopment.

comes in contact too soon after
applying.

@ Apply the cream or spray with
a lighter touch and a_ lesser
amount to knees, elbows and
areas of the body with tiny lines,
since color develops deeper in
these areas.

@ To avoid discoloring palms and
unevenly coloring fingers (which
seems to be inevitable), wash your
hands with soap and water im-
mediately after applying the tan.

@ Do not use a spray directly on
your face. Spray your hands and
apply it to the face carefully and
evenly.
