A beautiful design from students

When the mechanical
engineering students of Con-
cordia University, Montreal,
set about to produce an ex-
ercise in automobile design,
the results were a thing of
beauty.

Starting with sound basics,
an elegant, sleek fibreglass
body kit, a reliable drive
tram and radial tires the
students then contributed
their own creative touch.

The headlights hide away
behind multiple louvres
which are pneumatically
operated. Rather than doors
or flaps for entering, the
Stinger’s roof elevates either
by an electrically activated
