The drydock would have brought North Vancouver $175,926 in extra tax money, said Payne, but “now that money has to come instead from the homeowner, who is taking up the slack.” Alderman Ralph Hall noted that Burrard Yarrows only paid $22 million of the cost °of the $50 million drydock with the rest of the money coming from the federal government. “That's a $28 million gift meeting as well.
