Andrei Lungu, 70, of
North Vancouver, received 12
months’ probation after he
pleaded not guilty to assault
with a knife, but instead
pleaded guilty to the lesser or
included offence of assault.

The original _ charge
stemmed from a March 22
incident involving 2 woman.

A Romanian interpreter
was required for court.

Before Judge Reginald
Grandison on April 25:

Stanislav Steven Puskas,
27, of Whistler, was fined
$500 and had his driver’s
licence suspended for 60 days
after he pleaded not guilty to
impaired driving, but instead
pleaded guilty to the lesser or
included offence of driving
without consideration.

The original charge
stemmed from a July 5, 1998,
incident in North Vancouver
City. ;

jailed 30 days after he pleaded

belonging to the Bay on Dee.
16, 1999 in West Vancouver;

belonging to Canada Safeway
on Jan. 13 in West Vancouver.

The jail sentence was to
begin after bis current time in
jail was conipicted.

Thomas Arthur Jones, 24,
of Vancouver, received three
years’ probation after he was
found guilty of harassing a
woman between Sept. 14,
1999 and Sept. 20, 1999 in
North Vancouver City.

Before Judge Reginald
Grandison on Feb. 29:

Joseph Anthony Th
42, of Vancouver, was jailed
seven days, fined $300 and
had his driver’s licence sus-
pended for 12 months after he
pleaded guilty to driving while
prohibited on Marine Drive in
West Vancouver on Aug. 6,
1999.

Before Judge Jerome
Paradis on Feb. 29:

David Eric Nolte, 42, of
North Vancouver, received
three months” probation after
he pleaded guilty to failing to
complete 30 hours of com-
munity work by Dee. 31,
1998,

Nolte was required to pay
$500 to go to “general rev-

- enue.”

Alison Lea Lammers, 25,
of Maple Ridge, was fined
$400 and had his driver’s
licence suspended for nine
months after he pleaded not
guilty to impaired driving, but
instead, pleaded guilty to the
lesser or included offence of

driving without duc care and
attention.

stemmed from a July 7, 1999
incident in North Vancouver
City.

on Feb, 25:

Minbo Choi, £0, of North
Vancouver, received 12
months’ probation after he
pleaded guilty to assaulting
two people on Feb. 13° in
North Vancouver District.

required for court.

each received 12 months’ pro-
