The show was put on > the North amd West Vancesver Chambers of com merece and coincided with the province wide Chamber ot commerce week. “Ewould sav we have cer- tainly hed good comments,” said North Vancouver cham ber of commerce president Judi Ainsworth. “Whenever | had a chance to walk around a Jor of the people if they weren't doing business they were certuiniy doing heavy networking.” This vear’s event was once again held at the Squamish Nation Recreation Centre and featured a record number of exhibitors and visitors More than 500 visitors trad a chance to mingle sith one anouber as well ay view the goods and sertices disphived by 67 exhibitors. The North Shore trade tair seems to be hitting its stride After ano absence of a tew years. “Ets (a trade shows some- thing the chaniber started about 10 years ago. We had two a vear but they were ger ting kind of stale and we did- mt do it for about four years,” said Ainsworth. “And it’s certainly bigger and better than it’s ever been.” She added the only prob- lem with this year’s shaw was the Jack of adequate parking — something that will be addressed by next vear’s event. Current plans call tor the exhibitors to leave their vehicles elsewhere and be dri- ven to the facility via shuttle. “That way we can eave all of the parking for people attending,” said Ainsworth.
