Early registration for the GSL Football League will be held tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday at Norgate Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Regular registration is set for Sept. 5, 6 and 7 at the same location and times, There are two classifica- tions in the co-ed flag divi- siom: flag one (age maximum 8 years old) and flag nvo (age maximum 1] years). While the year 2000 fees for both classes are the same — $50 per player — the former has a masximuns weight cap of 75 Ib. while the latter carries a maxi- mum weight limit of 100 Ib. In the contact division, fees in the four divisions (pec wee; minor, junior bantam; and bantam) are all $120 per player. Weight restrictions apply to all classes in the contact division except bantam. For pee wee, the maximum allaw- able weight is 100 Ib.; for minor, 130 Ib.; and for junior bantam, 150 tb. North Vancouver's Alana Wilson has been awarded a full ride scholarship to Kansas City while West Vancouver’s Andrea Lennox will study this fall at the University of Indianapolis. Wilson, . who - attended Windsor Secondary, is a 5°)" basketball forward/guard that was named team MVP and a district all-star. She also plays soccer, coaches an elementary school cagers team and com- petes in equestrian events. Lennox, a goalkeeper on the West Vancouver Secondary soccer squad, served time on a number of district and provin- cia} teams and posted seven shutouts and a 0.69 goals against average at the 1999 B.C.
