THE NORTH Vancouver, RCMP will host a third-annuat
National Nilght Out on Tuesday, Aug. l,at Panorama Park
in Deep Cove.

The “giant block party” runs from 7 to 10 p.m. and
includes entertainment for children’ und’ adults. Police
expect 4,000 people to attend the event, which is aimed at
raising awareness about crime prevention programs and
community. services.. Locai businesses have sponsored
planned activities, such as a jeliybean draw for bike helmets,
and have donated raffie prizes. The public is asked to-use
