NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT §

NOTICE is hereby given by the City of North Van-
couver, pursuant to Section 957 of the Municipal Act
of British Columbia, that a Public Hearing will be held
on MONDAY, August 22, 1988 at 7:30 P.M. in the
Council Chamber, City Hall, 141 West 14th Street,
North Vancouver, B.C., to receive representations in
connection with the following proposed amendment
to the “Zoning by-law, 1967".

BY-LAW NO. 5909

To amend the text of the Zoning By-law to expand
the home occupation use provision to include dwell-
ings in all residential zones and to add regulations
fo ensure that the residential character of the
neighbourhood will be maintained.

This by-law will further prohibit in apartment
buiidings, certain accessory home occupation uses
involving frequent visits by clients or visitors, and in
the case of multi-unit residential buildings, requires
approval of the accessory home occupation use by
the Strata Corporation or fandlord.

APPLICANT: CITY OF NORTH VANCOUVER

ALL PERSONS who believe that their interest in pro-
perty is affected by the proposed by-law shall be af-
forded a reasonable opportunity to be heard — in
person, by attorney, or by petition.

COPIES of the proposed amending by-law and per-

of the City Clerk between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.,
