earned a hard fought 1-1 draw
with Germania at McBride Park
on Oct. 6.

The Saints pressed early and had
some good scoring chances with
Jim Mason hitting the post on a
long shot from outside the penalty
area.

But Germania got on the
scoreboard first when a hand ball

Craig Henderson stopped the
penalty shot, but the rebound spun
into the net.

Finally the Saints’ pressure paid
off, when Randel Goch put a tree
kick out to Terry Gaines on right
wing. 7

Gaines crossed the ball to Lorne
Loisele who touched it on for lan
Fisher who blasted it into the net.
