On April 27 there'll be
another People’s Law School
lecture and discussion, at
Boundary. These free
lecture discussions are a real
opportunity, and the topic
this time is most timely --
come and learn the when's
and how-to's.

The next series of mini-
courses begins May 3, for
four days, at Carson
Graham. The courses of-
fered run from Exploring the

a haircut

PEKING (UPI) - Chinese
authorities ordered male
athletes to cut their hair and
shave their sideburns and
moustaches and told women
athletes to get rid of “weird”
hairstyles to avoid leading
spectators astray.

The municipal govern-
ment newspaper, Peking
Daily. said a majority of the
city’s athletes have been
“persuaded” to clean up
their appearance.

The newspaper reported
success in convincing “male
athletes to do without long

hair, large sideburns and
moustache, and female
athletes to refrain from
having weird hairdo”.

“After changing their
appearance, the athletes
look more spinted and

energetic,” it said.

The Peking soccer team
has adopted the crew cut,
and some other sports teams
have formed barber service
to give free haircuts, it said
