It only took a few minutes for David Hay to to lose any trace of his TR6 sports.car in a sequence of bizarre events reminiscent « of something ° out of a slapstick. movie. But when the show’ was, over he --wasn't laughing. One moment the North Vancouver 19-year-old was driving down Cypress Bowl Road: and the next his car was burned out at the bottom, of a steep ditch. Hay, who lives at 607 East Windsor, in North Van, was driving his car there Monday afternoon when it hit a bump on the second S-bend up the road. From what was to follow, it seems that the fuel line from his gas tank must have broken at this point.
