Taking ‘time out’ in North Van's Civic Centre

THE hear-fbed days of August provided people with good reason
to slow down a Ete, sip on cool ice-cubed beverages, and reduce
many a quick step-in-time to a saunter. North Vancouver's Civic
Centre, located on Lonsdale Avenue and [4th Street is a magnet
tor outdoor summer strollers, people aking ticir mid-day meal
under sunny skies, and passers-by opting to rest by the the centre’s

North Van City Library or the residential area tucked behind. But
many others side step Lonsdale’s hustle and bustle to enjoy a few
