The Provincial List does not contain non-resident property electors (non-resident property owners). - { Therefore, advance registration for non-resident property electors, to be added to the list of electors, is available at City Hall from SEPTEMBER 2 TO 24, 1996. Advance ‘registration is also available from SEPTEMBER 2 TO 24, 1996, for resident electors whose names are not on the Provincial fist of electors. Registered electors, if qualified, can also register at the time they vote: Qualified non-resident property electors whose names have rot been added to the iiat of electors by SEPTEMBER 24, 1996, must apply ts ihe City Clerk’s office before NOVEMBER I, 1996 for a non- resident property elector certificate if they wish to register ut the time they vote. To be qualified to register, a RESIDENT ELECTOR must meet the following requirements: . ; a) you must be eighteen years of age or older on general voting day; b) you must be a Canadian citizen; ¢) you must have resided in British Columbia in accordance with Section 53 of the Municipal Act for at least six months immediately preceding the day of registration; d) you must have resided in the City of North Vancouver in which the vote is taking place in accordance with Section 53 of the Municipal Act for at least 30 days immediately preceding the day of registration: ¢) you must not be disqualified by the Municipal Act or any other enactment from voting in the election or be otherwise dis- qualified by law.
