Centre is offering a lineup of
workshops for all ages this winter.

For preschoolers, there's Nanny
and Me, 1%-hour classes where
Nannies and their charges can play,
cook and be creative together while
socializing with other nannies and
children, Next sessions are Feb. 7
and March 7, 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Also for three to five-year-olds
is Valentine Sweets and Treats,
Feb. 14 from J to 2:30 p.m., and
St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Charms,
March 14 from ! to 2:30 p.m.

Children age six to 12 can learn
to make special ice creams and
toppings in Winter Chills, Feb. 28

or Valentines

Also being offered is a
workshop on robotics, Feb. 24
from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and
one on mini circuits, March 3 from

A (wo-day puppetry workshop
will be held on Feb. 10 and 17
from 9 am. to noon. Japanese
origami is a new program sched-
uled on Feb. 2) for five to seven-
year-olds and Feb. 28 for eight to
12-year-olds.

An afternoon of sanding,
polishing and etching soapstone
for six to eight-year-olds will be

offered on Feb. & from 3:30 to
$:30 p.m. and for eight to 12-
year-olds on Feb. 15 and 22, from
3:30 to $:30 p.m.

Teens can participate in an
afternoon of batik on Jan. 28 from
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or tie dyeing on
Feb. 18 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. They
can learn about money manage-
ment on Feb. '2 from 7 to 9 p.m.
or haw to become an extra in the
many TV shows and movies cur-
tently being filmed in Vancouver
on Jan. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m..
