RECEPTIONIST/secretary with a pleasant personality and typing skills is needed to be the front line person in the lobby of an art gallery. Duties include answering phones, greeting the public, han- dling the mail and other general office work. Hours are flexible on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. TELEPHONE caller is needed to make calls to new mothers reminding them of their baby clinic appointments on Monday or Tuesday mornings every other week for one to three hours. GOOD communication — skills and an interest in learning Chinese art and culture are the require- ments for these interesting posi- tions with a Vancouver garden society. People are needed to guide tours through a Ming Dynasty Classical Chinese garden, to greet the public, answer questions about the gardens and arrange 10 to 45 minute tours for groups ranging from children to high school stu- dents to adults. Training and ori- entation are provided and the vol- unteer will receive privileges of a member of the Garden Society. Also needed are people to assist with the gift shop and special events, maintenance and office work as required. Hours are flexi- ble.
