N. Vancouver man
fined for UIC fraud

A 29-YEAR-OLD North Van-
couver man was fined $1,000
Monday in North Vancouver pro-
vincial court after he pleaded guil-
ty to eight counts of making false
statements on his unemployment
insurance claim fornis.

Mark Joseph Klement faced the
eight counts in connection with
Statements made on his
unemployment insurance report
cards from June to August 1985.

Klement appeared before Judge
J.D. Layton.
