A RECOGNITION evening
was held recently, to honor
group day care supervisors
on the North Shore. These
women included supervisors
working in the field for more
than five years, as well as
supervisors, who have been
working with school aged
children for more than two
years.

Gillian Chetty, Regional
Manager of the Ministry of
Human Resources for Region
14, staff of Day Care infor-
mation Services, and the
group day care supervisors
gathered together at Park &
Tilford Gardens in the recep-
tion room.

They congratulated thirty-
one Early Childhood Educa-
ion group day care super-
visors and cleven out of
school supervisors. These
supervisors’ years of service
ranged from two years to
twenty-four years of
demonstrated commitment to
providing quality day care
for children in the
community.
