recognized the youth. They
picked him up. .

Now, they’re foooking for
the owner of the car so they
can wrap up the case.

Breath test

breathalyzer tést brought a
scheduled trail to an abrupt
end Thursday. ©

Donald Brian Baker was
preparing to defend himself
on a charge of hit and run,
when Judge R.D. Grandison
ordered the man be given a
breath test because of the
concerns of: the crown
counsel.

Baker was brought back to
court. after a five-minute
recess, along with a report
from West Vancouver Police
that showed a reading of 220
milligrams of alcohol per 100
millilitres of blood. (Legal

Baker denied he had been
drinking on the morning of
the trial but said he had ‘‘an
