Let me confess something. My favorite television

character is Wiley Coyote.

1 see that the National
Coalition on Television
Violence in the U_S. thinks
that he’s bad news.

The Bugs Benny-
Roadrunner show, of which
Wiley Coyote is the real star,
has been found guilty of con-
hoor, compared to a prime
time average of six.

I'm assuming that
everyone has at least seen a
picture of Wiley Coyote at
one time or other, even if
you’e not a dedicated fan of
the show.

He's skinny, his cars flop
down, and his basic expres-
sion ts.a crafty, conning icer,
followed by much smacking
of has ips as he plots new
ways to do im his arch-prey.

is the swift, clusive Roadrun-
ner whom Wiley Coyote
never manages to catch. In
