Pursuant to Section 26 of the Highway Act and the
provisions of the Commercial Transport Act, please
be advised that effective 12:01 a.m. (midnight), Thurs-
day, March 9, 1989, the following load restrictions
will be applied within the Howe Sound Highways

District.

Until further notice, a 70% toad restriction will be
imposed on the following routes:

Sea to Sky Highway #99

— Whistler to Pemberton

Pemberton Meadows Road
— From the Village of Pemberton north to

its terminus

Pemberton Portage Road

— From Sea to Sky Highway #99 in the
Village of Pemberton to D'Arcy. .

Lillooet Lake Road

— From the Village of Mt. Currie to the
Howe Sound Highways District boundary

at Van Horlick.

No person shail operate any vehicle over any of the
above noted highways having a weight in excess of
70% of lega! axle weight, notwithstanding the ap-
plicable percentage of tolerances provided under
Section 7.06 (2) of regulations pursuant to the Com-

mercial Transport Act.

No overload permits wil! be allowed.
Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be

prosecuted.
