trimmed ~- faster than humans
could do — for a maximum of
possible comfort and reliability.

Three diesel-electric engines can
be used for ship propulsion as
needed.

Using Dacron sail cloth, the six
Marconi-type sails can be totally
furled in about two minutes —
allowing for near-instantancous
navigational changes.

Fully decked out, the ship’s 75
outside cabins are a far stretch
from the days when sailors bunked
in hammocks. Complete with the
latest in entertainment and per-
sonal care items, the rooms were
designed by French architect Mare
Held.

tains of this oversized sailing vessel
on the flying bridge high above the
cool blue waves.
