A $15,000 study to
prepare a_ revitalization
scheme for Edgemont

Village has been approved
by North Vancouver District
council,

Council approved the
hiring of consultants even
though it was pointed out
that the moncy would be
wasted if the District does
not manage to get funding
under the provincial govern-
ment’s Downtown Revita-
lization Program.

The preparation of the
study was approved last
week after council received
a letter from the Edgemont
Merchants sup porting the
move.

Alderman Mary Segal said
that the © District
eligible for $75,000 in funds
under the revitalization
program.
