Thieves who broke into
Trolls Restaurant in West
Vancouver, Wednesday
night, sprayed a freezer area
with whi cream before
escaping with $570 in cash
and $47 in liquor.

A West Vancouver Police
spokesmen said that a

person or pérsons broke into
the restaurant at 6407 Bay
Street sometime during the
night, by dropping a ladder
through an air vent on the
roof.

_Alderman Gordon Rose
suggested that Alderman
Mary Segal was “all wet” in
supporting a two week door-
to-door canvass proposed by
Agape Force (Canada) Inc.
to North Vancouver District
Council Monday.

The majority of council
agreed with him and the
proposal was denied.

Rose said that he doesn't
want to see either religious
or political groups can-
vassing the District for funds
— especially for a two week
period.

Council had previously
denied a 1979 request from
