North Vancouver waterfront comes alive with new sounds By Michael Beck News Editor THE North Vancouver waterfront is newly alive with music at the Ship of the Seven Seas Seafood Restaurant. Derek Nyberg has put together some promising pro- gramming this month. Every third Friday evening (music begins at 9 p.m. aboard ship) the stage is turned over to the Pacific Songwriter’s Association Showease, Coco Love Alcorn appears Aug. 15, celtic folkies The Last Family play Aug. 16 and Aug. 17, John Bottomley plays Aug. 30 and 31. On Wednesdays the room becomes an acoustic open stage. Louise Cournoyer brings ive. miusic review Latin jazz aboard on Aug. 22. Lingo Sisters Folk appear Aug. 24. Terry Brennan plays Aug. 29.
