peacefully at Carlton Private , Hospital,
Burnaby on Wednesday, March 9, 1994
Born in Chester,
England on September 11, 1905. His
parents ana. other family members
emigrated to Canada in 1907. Les was
predeceased by his first wife Muriel
(Pasquill) and second wife Mona
(Eastwood) plus other sisters and brother
Bill, Survived by sons Roy and Warren,
sister Win Lovell and sister-in-law Marion
Sumpter, also grand and great-grand-
children and other relatives,

In his early years, Les was very active in
semi-professional baseball in the Fraser
Valley area (his favorite sport). In the
early 1920's he joined Pacific Stage
Lines (Pacific Coach Lines) and was
honoured for many years of excellent
and outstanding driving ability. He was
fafer in maintenance at B.C. Hydro and
tetired in the early 1960's.

A time of viewing will be held on Mon-
day, March 14th from 10:00 a.m. to
10:45 am. in Ocean View Funeral
Home, 4000 {mperial Street, Burnaby,
with Service of Committal at 11:00 a.m.
in the Ocean View Abbey Mausoleum.
