Heritage Sea to Sky Weekend, Sept. 11-13 BEGINNING FRIDAY, Sept. 11, the annual Heritage Sea to Sky Weekend will again offer a variety of free guided tours, talks and displays focusing on the history of the North Shore. One tour with a difference is the heritage harbor tour aboard the SS Constitution, which pro- vides a unique opportunity to view the North Shore’s waterfront heritage from the water. Tours leave hourly on Sunday and are free. Adventureus heritage explorers may wish to pre-register for West Vancouver Historical Society’s old logging sites hike. Some difficult sections of this mountain hike re- quire that participants come prepared, wearing sturdy footwear. Call 922-1211 (local 207) to register. The North Vancouver Museum, in addition to its heritage displays in Presentation House, presents a page from the Nomh Shore’s transportation history: Streetcar 153, recently restored and housed in the Station Museum in Mahon Park.
