rocky knoll, the ‘house
commands a striking ocean
view. A large home of 2,875
sq. ft., it has two decks, a
patio, two fireplaces and 2'4
baths. .

Most of the southern side
of the house is glass to take
advantage of the view. With
so much space available, it is
possible to entertain one

hundred guests. The lot,
being mostly bedrock,
means there are not many
places for a_ garden.
However, Jane has cleverly
solved that problem by
utilizing a greenhouse, as
well as having large potted
vegetables. Up behirid the.
house there is a small natural
“basin” in the bedrock which
Jane has also turned into a
garden.

The beautiful vaulted-
ceiling living room is fur-
nished in what could be
described as contemporary
onental, as is the dining

room and master bedroom.
The kitchen was designed
by a woman and is both
efficient and attractive with
its knotty pine cabinets. The
laundry room adjoins the
kitchen. Due to clever
designing it is not really
visible, yet close at hand.

Out on the targe patio
stands a brick barbeque
which is perfect for outdoor
living. In fact, the whole
house seems just perfect for
happy get-togethers with
friends while watching the
sunset from this rocky
perch.
