today's royal wedding has
proved to be a tourist flop.

One travel agent simply
described the tourist
response as “appalling.” and
Christopher Denner said his
company Galaxy Travel
réserved 1,200 hotel beds for
tourists during the wedding
week — and has sold just 10.

“Why travel all the way to
England to be shoved and
pushed, and put up with
security risks when you can
watch the whole thing at
home on Television?” asked
tour organizer Alan Mellins,
speaking of the estimated
750 million who tuned in
today in 51 countries around
the world.
