March 12

1. 500-bik. Hermosa Avenue

Theft from vehicle, Door of
vehicle left unlocked. Culprits
entered a 1998 Chrysler van
and stole CD Walkman and
cellphone. Const. Marc
Boland, front counter-2000-
7871.

2.  2000-bik.
Highway
Break, enter and theft. Hair
salon broken into, Entry
gained by throwing rock
through glass dour. Stolen
were various hair-care products
valued at $1,500. Const. Sue
Sanford, D-2000-7888.

Dollarton

3. 1200-bik. Marine Drive
Theft from vehicle. Four
passports, backpack — and
Canon camera were stolen
from vehicle. Const. Sue
Sanford, D-2000-7906.

March 25 :
4. 2400-bik. Mt. Seymour
Parkwa

Theft from vehicle. A Visa
card was stolen from a 1994
Chrysler Voyager while parked
at a Ron Andrews recCentre.
No damage to vehicle.
Unknown suspects. Const.
Deri Kinsey, C-2000-9203.

5. 500-blk. West 28th Street

Theft from vehicle.
Unknown thief ripped off
front emblem of 2 Dodge
Caravan while parked in a
parking tot. Numerous other
vehicles in same parking area
have had the “crests” stolen
from their vehicles as well.

6. 100-bik. West 14th Strect

Theft from vehicles.
Numerous vehicfes broken
into in secured underground
parkade. Small items stolen.
Culprits used pry bar to gain
entry. No suspects or witness-

and Nov. 1, 1997.

was broken into. Suspects
pried open door to gain entry.
It did not appear anything was

Mischief. Unknown suspect
threw object which broke front

West 20th

Jacobs was required to per-
form 150 hours of communi-
ty work.

He was required to pay
$16,896.44 compensation.

The crime involved Jacobs
cashing his deceased father’s
pension cheques. -

Bryce Mitchell Porter, 63,
of West Vancouver, was fined
$300 after he pleaded not
guilty to impaired driving, but
instead pleaded guilty to the
