In a million random acts of kindness, north shore resident Brock Tully and an energetic Cycling for Kindness team have just left Vancouver and they won't be back until September 17th. Team members are educating people about the impact of kindness and at the same time inspiring heartfelt action. “Random acts of kindness are just anonymous acts of caring in the spur of the moment,” said Brock Tully, Cycling for Kindness spokesperson and author. "Generally they cost nothing but they can make 3 huge difference in someone's life.” Tied in to this year's cycling trip is a series of Town Hall Forums. They've been " designed to encourage people to share stories, connect and develop their own kindness initiatives. The forums will be held in 36 cities across North America. Along the way, the team will collect stories of kindness and 2 select few will be chosen ‘ from each city and presented at the forums. Later they will be published in the Cyclopedia of Kindness. She is the winner of the North Shore Songwriting Contest. The twenty year-old songwriter from North Vancouver received acclaim for her song “Willing,” a song per- formed by her sister Anna. The announcement was made last month by the North Shore Arts Commission.
