We recently picked up three parcels when they came on the marke? and will continue to do so as it becomes available. : British Pacific Properties has always been a good corporate citi- zen and I: am hopeful that an equitable arrangement could even- tually be made to preserve this land (above the 1,200 ft. level) in its present form. West Vancouver in July 1981 adopted a position paper stating “it is of the utmost urgency that Hollyburn Ridge come under the protection of. regional park status.” Its application to the Greater Vancouver Regional District to designate the area as a regional park was submitted to the provin- cial government.
