ranked third in Canada with a
time of 2:13.59 in the
marathon. He won the 1995
Canadian Championships, and
finished [0th in that year's
Vancouver Sun Run.

His personal best in the
marathon (2:13.35) was set in 1994 at the London Marathon,

Bruce's goals include establishing a new Canadian record and
finishing in the top 16 at the Adanta Olympics.

Vancouver as a student at Simon
Fraser University. At the school
she met Canadian Dave Parker,
who she married. Moberg-
Parker won her first world
Optimist championships at age
12, and was a member of
Norway's national team from 1985-1993. After getting her release -
from the Norway sailing federation, Tine joined the Canadian team.

THE Olympic dream is about to be realized by rf
North Shore athletes.

For some, the Atlanta Summer Olympics represent thei
first-ever trip to the world’s biggest and most-watched sporti
event.

For others, like North Van's Charmaine Crooks and We
Van's Paige Gordon, the Atlanta Games will be’ anothe:
Olympic feather in their well-worn competitive caps. .
