Standard equipment on the $16,995 JX model includes tachometer, power steering, centre console, rear ABS, two-speed intermittent wipers, rear-window wiper and washer, and split folding rear seats. The $20,395 JLX adds power windows and door locks (all doors can be locked from the trunk), AM/FM stereo with four speakers, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, full cloth upholstery, chrome wheels, and remote rear-door lock. The Sidekick’s small four cylin- der engine doesn’t have the power to pull heavy loads and a V6 engine is not available as an option.
